A lively pizza spot and patio bar, Betelgeuse Betelgeuse is located at 2101 Washington Ave in Houston's Old Sixth Ward, right on the Washington Corridor. Our patio is spacious and dog-friendly, with TVs, fans, and string lights overhead.
During the day it's easy and low-key, perfect for families, big groups, or a solo weekend lunch with a cold drink. At night the energy ramps up, with karaoke every Friday and Saturday, industry nights, a vintage Photomatica photo booth for the evidence, and a full bar of handmade cocktails and an extensive spirits selection.
Cast-iron, ironclad-style pizzas made to order, apps and snacks, gluten-free options that really crunch, and happy hour every day from 4 to 6. Order at the bar and we'll take it from there.

HAPPY HOUR

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you located?
2101 Washington Ave in Houston's Old Sixth Ward, on the Washington Corridor.
Is there parking?
Yes. Three lots: the spaces around our building, the lot on our west side, and another lot with a big "Betelgeuse Parking" sign past the furniture shop.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes. Bring your dog out to the patio. We'll probably like your dog.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes. Gluten-free crust on our 14" pizzas, our wings and chicken tenders are gluten-free (breaded in rice flour, tapioca flour, and corn starch), fries, garlic-parm fries, and salads can be made gluten-free with no croutons. We have plenty of vegetarian options too.
Is this a Beetlejuice-themed bar?
No. The name comes from Betelgeuse, the supergiant star. We like the movie, but this isn't a themed bar.
