Betelgeuse Betelgeuse on Washington Ave is a lively patio bar and pizza spot in Houston's Old Sixth Ward, right on the Washington Corridor. The patio is one of the best in the neighborhood — spacious, dog-friendly, with TVs, fans, and string lights overhead.

During the day it's easy and low-key: perfect for families, big groups, and solo lunches with a cold drink. As the night goes on, the energy ramps up — karaoke every Friday and Saturday, industry nights, and a full bar with an extensive spirit selection and handmade cocktails.

Cast iron pizzas made to order, apps and snacks, and happy hour every day from 4–6pm ($7 wines, $8 draft jugs, $9 select cocktails). Order at the bar and we'll take it from there.
